About

Ritter Ames is the USA Today Bestselling author of the cozy Organized Mysteries, the Frugal Lissa Mysteries, and the Bodies of Art Mystery series. When she’s not writing or brainstorming new mysteries, Ritter is usually trying to get her favorite yellow lab to stay out of the pond, or keep her grouchy black cat from trying to give the dog away on Freecycle. Ritter would love to live on a boat and write from far flung locations around the globe, but the dog would constantly have to be fished from the water, and her husband and cat would just complain endlessly about the dog’s smell, so staying on land seems to be the only good option to keep her sanity and not get sidetracked from writing.

  1. This book sounds like something I would really enjoy reading. I am assuming that you have written other books under another name, but if not, I will be looking forward to getting your book now and the new series in January. I read a lot of mysteries, especially cozies, so will be very interested in your writing. Thank you and wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year.

  2. Just finished reading “organized for murder”. I LOVED it. I couldn’t make my mind up who the killer was. Mysteries that keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end are the absolute best one. Also, I appreciated the way the main character grew as the story progressed. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out. Thanks for such a great read!!!!

    1. Thanks so much for posting. I’m trying to do the final revisions in the second book in this series, so it’s nice to know when I’m on the right track with things 🙂 I’m going to start blogging on Organized for Murder this coming week in anticipation of the Feb 24th release. Thank you, again, and I really appreciate your taking the time to read Organized for Murder. So glad you enjoyed it.

  3. I finished organized for murder, and I LOVED IT! I kept on guessing the wrong person.. Lol.. can’t wait until the 2 book comes out, I will definitely read.. 5 stars!

    1. Good luck, Mike! This first year for me with two books out just months apart has been exciting and exhausting–LOL! But I wouldn’t trade a day of it!

  4. I loved your “Bodies of Art” series and hope a 6th one is in the making. I cannot wait to see what Laurel and Jack are up to next

    1. Hi Angela,
Things have been in flux since my publisher of the Bodies of Art Mysteries dropped all their authors and series in February. I’d been waiting before that to see how things shook out, and I hope to be able to do something else in the series by 2021. We’ll just have to wait and see.
