Organized for S’more Death

Organized for S’more Death

Who knew camping could be so deadly…

Series: Organized Mysteries

A family outing in a national forest seemed like the best kind of R&R to Kate & Meg. Until an afternoon scavenger hunt in the woods ends the day with a dead body–and the natural beauty around them takes a decidedly sinister twist. Worse, after interviewing witnesses, the police suspect one of them could be the prime suspect–or the next victim.

They not only must get off police radar–but at the same time stay out of the killer’s cross-hairs and keep their families safe.

Organized for S’more Death is the newest release in the popular Organized Mysteries series from USA TODAY bestselling author Ritter Ames, which features a small town New England setting and interesting characters, along with humor, strong family and friendship ties, and absorbing cozy mysteries.

This was one of the best book in the series. Once again, Kate gets involved in a murder mystery and it was fun to read from finding the body to picking up clues along the way and to the camping tips at the beginning enhanced my reading pleasure. Ritter knows how to tell a story that captivates and I'm glad I get to enjoy her books.

LOVED it. The best part of any good book is spending time with the character and Kate and Meg are two of my favorite. Their warmth, casual humor, and intelligence draw me just as they would in real life; I just went my first camping trip with them. It didn't turn out as planned when those those murder magnets I adore found a the jerk's body. Maybe Meg wanted to kill him but she didn't want him dead! Already can't wait for the next one!

With back-to-school planning right around the corner, Katie and Meg and their family plan a weekend camping trip. But their plans go awry when the female duo stumble over yet another dead body. Fears of a mob hit cut short this otherwise enjoyable nature vacation. This story is filled with great hints for successful camping trips, reminiscent of girl scout (or boy scout) training, such as using crayons for temporary candles, or filling toilet paper tubes with dryer lint as a fire starter. I enjoyed learning more about their families and how the husbands and children interacted with each other. I was a little disappointed in how naive the ladies acted when actually confronted with the murderer, but they redeemed themselves in the end. The story contains a hint to the next story, as well as delicious recipes, and a teaser two chapter lead to a new cozy series. Disclosure: I am voluntarily reviewing this ebook.

They are baaack...yes I'm talking about Kate and Meg. Who else? And they are taking a family vacation, in the woods, like in camping in the woods? I'm totally agreeing with Kate here. My idea of roughing it is sharing bathroom with somebody, so yeah. A cabin is welcome. A dead body not so much. Fun read, perfect for a day in the woods...kidding. perfect any time. Highly recommended.

After a hectic weekend with our grands I was thrilled to sink into my chair with Ritter Ames' 'newest mystery . Kate and Meg ---talented organizers--- are on a family camping trip and still manage to come across a victim of foul play. The tips are genuinely interesting and helpful, but what keeps me returning to each new instalment are the characters and the plot twists. I recommend this to anyone who wants engaging characters who are people you could meet in your own hometown, along with a storyline that keeps you on your toes!
